Ok I know I am horrible at doing my blog... I think that I was better before I got on to facebook.... Oh well I am her now I am I am posting a new post (are you happy now Kelly and Jeni?? :) )

Well Now Brooklyn is walking like crazy and she is getting into practically EVERYTHING. Her new favorite is to empty out the pantry and pull all of the food out and put it in the middle of the floor while I am cooking dinner. She is saying more things like milk, all gone, please, Emma, Hi Dad, bye bye, I am sure there are more but I am can't remember any of them.
Brooklyn turned one in June and I decorated my first B-day cake.. It didn't turn out too bad.
Emma will be turning three in August and she is thrilled she tells everyone that she already is three and that we are going to Chuck-E Cheeses for her Birthday.

We took Emma to Water World in June as well and she had a blast (unforuntetly I can't post the pictures because I can't scan them into the computer) But she now talks about the Dinosours and the mommies (mummy's) that she saw on the rides. She got a little scared but I think it was mroe from the dark tunnels that we went into.

Emma and Brooklyn love playing with each other and enjoy singing with each other. Emma will be singing a song like I am a child of God and Brooklyn chimes in with her rendition of made up words and sounds (it is very cute and very loud!!) but I love it! Brooklyn also likes to cry when Emma is crying which is a lot of fun for Spencer and I to listen to... it gets us all sorts of excited for when they are teenagers.

The other day I was telling Brooklyn "no" to something and Emma is right beside her saying "ya Brooklyn do it" " Do it Brooklyn" and I told Emma " I mean NO" and Emma said " No, you mean yes".... SOOOO I am really looking forward to this when they can REALLY create mischief!

Brooklyn has learned how to crawl.. she is crawling machine! I think she enjoys being able to follow Emma around. however she gets upset when she has crawled all the way into a room where she is or I am and we leave as soon as she gets there.Our little family dressed for church... Emma REALLY didn't want to take this picture.

We celebrated Spencer's B-day (like the candles they were all I had one fell over and ALMOST started our APT on Fire) I made an ice cream cake and we went to Red Robin (our tradtion now)

We gave Brooklyn a fudge cycle and she LOVED it, I think that it is inevitable that our kids will have a sweet tooth since Spencer and I have BAD ones.

We went to a bump-jump place for one of my nieces birthdays the slide was Emmas Favorite thing to do.. we "had" to go on it with her quite a bit because she was scared to do it herself at first. Then she started to do it by herself. Emma has perfected the art of dirty looks.

Ok So I stink at blogging!!! I haven't put a new post on here in forever..
We had an awesome Christmas and Emma was soo excited about Santa coming.. she sang "Santa Clause is comeing to town" until the middle of Janurary.
There is not a whole lot of New stuff going on. Brooklyn is learning all sorts of new tricks like how big is Brooklyn and she raises her hands. she can clap when we say patti cake and she says bye bye. She also is starting to get up on her knees but she hasn't started to crawl yet. We think that she will start soon though.

Emma's Santa Visit 2 days early

We had a very special visit from Santa and his helpers early, and since Emma was shy while they were here she wanted to say thank you. They brought her a princess dress up kit that she absolutely loves AND she has tried on all of the dresses and jewelry since they have left which was about 20 minutes ago... THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH SANTA!!!

The Woes of the Terrible Twos!

So lately Emma has gotten into this habit of, if she gets told no she can't do or have something, she says " PaaaaLEASE" as drawn out and whiny as possible. If that doesn't work for her (which it usually doesn't) she will proceed to cry and whine and follow me or Spencer around all the while saying PLEASE and she is relentless she NEVER STOPS.. and as of late the ONLY time she stops (and it is only long enough to tell us) is when she has succeeded in peeing her pants. And having accidents is REALLY uncommon for her, when I potty trained her she didn't have any accidents that first week and has NEVER wet the bed. To say that I am getting a little tired of these tantrums is a HUGE understatement. I don't know what I am doing wrong or if it is just that she is a two year old. It makes me feel like a failure as a mother because I can't handle my child. I have tried every thing to get her to calm down short of strapping her to the top of the van and going for a little ride. It is just all very frustrating and tiresome. If anyone has any brilliant ideas to help with my dilemma please tell me!

Sick Girls

I am sitting at home for the second day in a row with very sick children. They both have a really bad caugh and Emma has lost her voice. It is also snowing so we are stuck inside so they don't get any worse. I think that Emma is getting tired of being inside, she wants to go to grandmas house and to go play in the snow. We have practically watched every pixar movie there is in the last two days. I would bake BUT I think that I would probably eat what ever it is that I bake and seeing how my pants have fit the last few days ( is proabably not the BEST idea). I am hoping that they get better in the next few days so we can go to chruch and not have to tell Emma she can't go to Nursury.
I other news Emma is getting very excited for Christmas We have put up our Tree and she LOVED helping decorating the tree. She has also informed Brooklyn that she cannot open the presents until Santa Comes. She has told us that Santa is bringing her " Pink presents"
She is very intrested in the nativity scenes that we have laid out in the house.

Dead Computer

Ok SO the other day Spencer and I wake up and turn on the computer like we normally do.. to discover that all it went to was " Please insert boot device or boot media and select proper boot media and press any key" Which (being the computer geniuses we are haha) we had NO idea what to do except the fact that what it was saying is proabably a BAD sign. We called every computer guy we knew and had one of our frineds come over to look at it... His prognosis was BAD!!!! he didn't think that we could recover anything (which was bad because we hadn't backed up any of our documents which included ALLL the photos of Emma and Brooklyn ALLLL of the photos) needless to say I was a little upset and kicking myself because I knew that the computer was about to crash it kept making a BAD sound over and over again yup lets hear it WE ARE IDIOTS!!! So we took it to my brother and someone he knows at work and they were able to recover all but 15 pictures HALLELUJAH!!!! luckly we have a laptop to tide us over until we get a better computer.

We decided we wanted to do something fun on Saturday. There was a free day at the zoo so we asked Emma if she wanted to go to the zoo or to go swimming she chose swimming. It was the first time Brooklyn had been in a pool and she seemed to LOVE it. They must take after their mom.

Ok So some of you may think that our playlist is REALLY random... well my sister and I have sorta declared war to see who can get the best music in their list. So as of right now I think I am winning.. (however we both of some really awesome songs ) SO help me out if I don't have a song that is AWESOME tell me and i'll put it on my play list so I can WIN!!

SO Twilight comes out in like two days and I am SOOO excited to go see it. I have a ticket already and everything. It has become one of my favorite books. So who wants to join my Twlight fan club??? (not really a fan club I just want to make sure that I am not the ONLY 25 year old freak excited for a movie directed towards teenagers).

Early Thanksgiving

We went over to Grand Junction this last weekend for the Parrish family "early Thanksgiving".

We had a lot of fun getting together with our family. Emma really enjoyed playing with her cousins. We got some cute pictures of Emma modeling on the tree in the back yard. Ashliegh also gave Emma a little haircut.
